Caught in the heart of the season between Noirmoutier, Île d'Yeu and Île de Ré, these sardines reflect a traditional know-how of excellence perpetuated since 1887, and recognized by the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant label.

Fished by a small fleet of boats from the port of Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie during the part of the season when they are fattest for even more fondant (end of July to October), these sardines are packed the same day. Sorted, gutted and harmoniously arranged one by one by hand in boxes filled with extra virgin olive oil, the meticulous gestures performed by the sardine makers are exactly the same as 130 years ago. This guarantees an unparalleled visual and gustatory quality!
